There once was a little boy named ECI who grew into a man. This man that he grew into was a man who will not be decieved by anybody and always hold an uptight attitude. He thinks so highly of himself and loves only himself.

One day ECI decided to go for an early morning jog around his neighborhood. While he was on his jog not paying no bit of attention to his surrounding, he knocked over a woman. This woman was slender and petite. ECI stops and stares at the woman, then quietly turns around to jog again not caring to apologize to the woman.

"Hey you! Dumbass!!!" The woman shouted to ECI.

He pretended not to hear her and kept jogging. The woman grew annoyed and frustrated. She thought of what she should do. In no time, the woman's foot met the back of ECI's head. Tumbling face down to the ground ECI went. The woman bursted into laughter.

"That's what you get for not apologizing you bastard." The woman said to ECI as he was still facing the ground.

"Ntseg muag! You wanna die?" ECI screamed as he got up to face the woman.

The woman just stared at ECI's face as blood was running down his nose and bursted into laughter again. Oh how pathetic ECI looked.

"Oh, so you're Hmong huh? How dare you threaten me to die!? Especially when I am a woman! You deserved that kick to the head for not apologizing to me." The woman responded.

"I did not deserve that kick! It's your fault for not paying attention and running into me. I don't need to give you an apology." ECI huffed, glaring at the woman as anger boiled up inside of him.

"Fine, I don't need your apology anyways. Even if you did apologize, coming from you it wouldn't mean anything. Giving you that kick to the head was enough to make me happy."

The woman then turned around and walked away leaving ECI in an awe. He couldn't believe that a woman like her would stand up to him. No one was never able to stand up to ECI like that because everyone have always feared him. Luckily no one he knew was around or it'll ruin his image.

That woman's strength made it's way into ECI's head. He couldn't forget what had happen early that morning while he was sitting at work. Then he heard a familar voice coming from behind him and turned around quickly to see who it was.

"Koj xwb!" ECI shouted in shock as he was face to face again with the same woman from earlier.

"Huh? Oh, Kuv xwb mas. Surprise to see me?" The woman asked.

"What are you doing here? This is my work place."

"Oh, did they not tell you? I'm Tess, your new supevisor. Knowing that I am going to be working with you, we'll have a lot of fun. I was told that you drove your last supervisor nuts because of your hard head that's why he resigned his job."

"Hmph and You'll be doing the same thing he did too." ECI smirked.

"We'll see about that. I like this challenge with you. Now get back to work or do you want another kick to the head?" Tess joked.

Once again, ECI watched as Tess walked away and disappeared. ECI was starting to hate her with a passion, but little did he know that he was falling for her.

About a year came to pass and ECI's temper slowly starts to calm down. Whenever Tess wanted ECI to do something and he rejects, she'll kick or slap his head. ECI hated that she did that to him. It was like she won't tolerate him and treats him like he's not human. But he was starting to like the idea that she's able to stand her ground and be who she is. Thinking about it, ECI started to realize that he was starting to like her.

On one particular Friday, ECI walked into Tess's office. He sat down quietly as he watched her go through her papers. She was starting to look more and more beautiful. Never has any women caught his attention this good.

"What do you want ECI? Can't you see that I am busy?" Tess said, frustrated.

"Umm...I was wondering if I can take you out to dinner? You know, to help you relieve some stress from work and of course from being my supervisor." ECI suggested.

Tess drops her pen on the desk as ECI finished up what he was saying. In shock, she never thought that ECI would take interest in asking a woman to dinner. Matter of fact, she thought that ECI might've been gay. She lets the words made its process into her head and thought about it.

"So, what do you think?" ECI asked.

"Sure. When will you be taking me?"

"Oh, if it's ok with you. I want to take you out tonight?"

"That'll be fine with me. You can get back to work now." Tess said.

Before ECI was able to get up and walk out of the office. Tess took a ruler on her desk and whack ECI's head.

"Hey! What was that for?" ECI shouted.

"No apparent reason. I just felt like it. You better not be late at picking me up." Tess laughed.

"Who said anything about picking you up?"

"Oh, I guess I won't join you for dinner then."

"Urgh, fine! I'll pick you up." ECI groaned under his breath as he knows that this will be his only chance to confess to her.

Later on that night, ECI went to pick up Tess. When they got to the restaurant, they had a little talk here and there before their food arrived. After getting their food, they talked some more and laughed the night away. This was the first for ECI. He's never had such a great time with a woman before. Tess was able to laugh and joke with him and he loved it.

"Tess I have something to tell you."

"What is it?" Tess asked curiously.

"I like you. Not the kind of like as a friend. I like you as in I want to start something with you."

Silence over came them. Thoughts ran through Tess's mind. She was unsure of herself and didn't know how to respond. It was too unexpected.

"I'm sorry. It can't be like that with us." Tess quiestly sad.

"Why not? What's so wrong about it?" ECI questioned.

"Because I am moving into another state. I'll be leaving tomorrow night."

"What? Why? Where are you going?"

"No where you need to know. I've been assigned to a higher position and I'm taking that job." Tess confessed.

Tess got up to walk away like she always do. Always leaving ECI in an awe. It was what she was best at, "leaving". ECI sat in silence at the table thinking about what had just happened. He couldn't believe it.

After a moment of thinking, ECI got up and ran after Tess. His foot flew in the air and met Tess's head. Down to the floor she fell.

"Woman you are not going anywhere. You'll stay here with me." ECI solmenly said.

"OH ECI! I don't want to leave you. I only said that to see how much you really like me and now I've realized that you do indeed like me." Tess cried as she got up off the floor.

"And CUT! That was a great job everyone. This will be the best movie ever!" The director shouted.
