I don't get it. What's wrong with kissing with your eyes open? Maybe he/she was in shock? LOL Is it the rule that you need to close your eyes when you're kissing? o.O xD
I think there was an actual "US" for you and him but then it didn't last. The "US" just didn't go as planned. Be happy that he came into your life but now it's time to move on and find peace with yourself. =] liiFe
