Locking Down Blogs --Specifically for Moderators.
So, why is it that blogs are being locked down so often now? o_O
I understand the part of trying to limit the blog spamming part, but are we to judge what goes on the blog?
We're not writing an essay for God's sake.
There's no set structure that they have to follow to keep their blogs unlocked or published.
Definition of a Blog: A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world.Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules.

Vulgar or rated information displayed in the blogs are to be deleted, but that doesn't mean all thoughts should be.

Thank you Karen! No one should have to be warn about what is in a blog or not. Ive seen blogs that have no meaning and is still open. These blogs had to right to remain a blog, why can't personal stories and poems be considered a blog?

Those are considered blogs.
But if you're sharing a poem written by someone else, then it belongs in the forum.
But if again, you write a summary about the poem explaining it or saying something referring to it, then it's a blog again.

I think there wouldn't be any problems if blogs are simply published or unpublished and if there is a note sent notifying the blogger why it was unpublished. And NOT because its not in paragraph form.

I don't lock or unpublish any blogs.
I just simply move them to the forums if I believe they're not suited to be here.
I have no clue who's deleting or unpublishing them, but I am getting lots of complaints.
Anyways, I think we should monitor the blogs and move what is necessary to the forums. Since it'd help both the growth of the forum and uselessness on the front page.
