My First UltraSound
Well, I went with my parents and we had the first ultra sound done. My dad held my mother’s hand and I thought this was the happiest couple on the planet right now. I could see the tears in my mother’s eyes and the hand gripping my father made every time the doctor said something. After being told she didn’t have a high chance of not being able to have babies again, 17 years later here she was having an ultra sound. All these years I thought it was my fault since my birth had some problems. I told myself I was going to be the best big brother a kid could ask for. And I was going to spoil him/her like my parents did me. I’m so proud of my mother, this is probably one of those moments where I tell myself, women are the strongest creature in the universe and will probably take the world by surprise, by taking over the world and hold all man kind prisoners for being the lying, cheating, SOBs that we are, sometimes. Other than this my weekend was pretty plain. Hung out with some friends I haven’t seen in a while and talked txted a lot to people, well mostly Bree.
All in all ultra sounds are a great way to see what the little guy or gal is up to. I enjoyed it and look forward to the next one.

Lol yea. I get that a lot. But sometimes people get annoy when they think you’re trying to be a smart-ass. I’m glad thing are okay right now and hopefully when it’s time things go smoothly.

did you spot any balls during the ultrasound? i bet it gonna turnout to be a boy. usually it will be a boy since her first baby was a dude.

True, it’s still early to see anything yet, but it’s in there all right I had a good look. The first ultra sound is mainly to see if the little guy or gal is doing alright.

We requested that the doctors don’t tell us if it’s a boy or girl. My parents want to be surprised. But I’m hoping it’s a girl. I think I could play protective big brother better if it was a girl. Then again if it was a boy we can have the “brother bond” play catch and go fishing. Stuff like that.

It’s like what you see on t.v. They put the gel on her tummy and all that, but you had to have been there. There was the atmosphere that made you all warm and fuzzy inside.
