heres the thing, ppl are selfish. ppl always want more. they always want to strive for something (assumingly) better. now this all juz depends on whoever has the willpower and heart (or heartlessness) to actually seek this 'happiness' that they so desire. we're all juz human. ppl make mistakes, make bad choices, live, forget, forgive, and regret. however things may turn out, just be happy that you at least have someone like your grandmother to count on. im assuming your mother isnt completely evil. fullfilling her needs and happiness just overpowered her moral obligations. ppl have flaws, they may falter at times. its ok to feel hatred and dislike for her, but u know that inside there is a part that still loves and long for her. and u know, this may sound completely preposterous, but even through all these years, she still cares and loves u and ur siblings too. u can never get rid of someone who is biologically a part of u. so juz try to mend things with her. its for the best. everyones grown from their experiences. its time for a new light. focus on on the future.

Humans are selfish. They all seek out what desires them most and once they make a stupid decision and realize it later, it may be a little too late for them. All you can really do for her is forgive and move on. Holding a grudge because of someone's selfishness isn't going to make anything better. At least she has realized her fault in all of this. Give her that space to come out of that shadow that she's been hiding behind. You've done good with out her, so keep living life as your own.
