Rice & Dreams. =]
I set my clock thirteen minutes ahead of the actual time because I worry about waking up late to school. I'd have the alarm on, but sometimes the volume would be shut off. Even though school has been over with for about a month now, it's still thirteen minutes ahead.
Anyway, that's not the point.
The point is, this morning at 6:36AM 6:23AM, an inconsiderate person named Daddy woke me up and requested that I make some rice for him. I threw my legs over the bed and flipped my fat red Korean blanket off me. I was still sleepy from the night before: my sister and I had been watching an old Thai drama until 12AM.
I dragged my dazed ass off the bed, into the hall and straight into the kitchen without making a stop to the bathroom first. Hell, I wasn't in the mood to wash up so early in the morning---I still wanted to sleep, and I was going to right after making that damn rice.
I didn't know why my dad always liked being an early bird so much, he and my mom wakes up at sunrise each morning, I'd say. They leave the house and go into the backyard to talk and fix our jungle garden, I suppose.
Anyway, after I was done, I threw the pot into the rice cooker and ran my butt back into my room. Yes, it's summer, and yes, it gets hot underneath those furry/thick korean blankets, but I STILL cover myself w/ it because it gives me comfort. (I have this weird theory that a ghost might try to grab me if i don't have it on.)
As I laid in bed, I couldn't help but ponder about the dream I was dreaming prior to my dad interrupting me. I didn't want to lose it, because sometimes I forget my dreams later on in the day, so as sleepy as I was, I reached underneath me, pulled on the 'built-in' drawer and opened my journal to the last blank page.
It took me an hour to write everything down, I think, but hey. =] Only once in a while to do you dream about really, really cool/weird things. The last time I woke up and wrote my dream down was just about a month ago or so, and in it, I was with A LOT of Hmong kids from my high school in a coolass meeting/show thing. LOL.
This dream in particular was one I had of my mentor, who I happened to be very fond of, and at one point, had a major crush on. Hahas. =] I met him when I was 14 and he was 19 going on 20. I KNOW WHAT SOME OF YOU ARE THINKING IF YOU'RE READING THIS, but I only had a crush on him, and I enjoyed thinking about him; I didn't want to be with him romantically or anything like that --- he was too old anyway. I'm not a girl from Thailand or Laos, okie dokie? =]
But yeah. This dream was the kind of dream that made me smile when I thought about it, so I had to write in down. Plus, since graduating from college as an undergrad this year, he's moved to New York anyway, so this would be almost like a keepsake of him for me. LOL. I think I only admire him now, but I do get carried away with thoughts sometime. =[ He was a kind person and he still is, I think. LOL. I think I'll always miss him. =]
But yeah.
That's my blog for you.

Aww... I liked this blog. =]
I do the weird alarm clock thing too. Haha.
Dreams have always been interesting. I've always wondered if they're just your deepest desires?
Lol.
Lmao. I had a similar dream too! LOL
It was just weeks ago I think.
>.> I couldnt remember and recognize the guy clearly, but he was tightly hugging and squeezing the breath outta me. It seemed like he was going somewhere far away. We didnt even finish hugging then I woke up. Hella weird dream. -___-
LOL jungle?
Hrmm damn I been having dreams like that too.
Cursh . . . long time ago . . . ahaha.
LOL hehehe and I always write them down too.

Oh wow! Thats a long blog; But I hate it when you have a missing piece of a dream and can't paste it back to the puzzles.
