Today while driving around on post, I was listening to 90.1 (HisRadio). This lady had committed adultery and she wanted to divorce her husband to be with her new man. She had moved out but was just visiting the home to get some of her stuff. At that very moment, her mom happens to call her. They talked and her mom can tell something was wrong, but she wouldn't tell her mom. So her dad gets on the phone and asked her. Because she's never lied to her dad, she was able to tell her dad that she's getting a divorce, etc.

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2)Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3)Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4)Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see the bed nicely made up and everything neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, "Dad". With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with you and Mom.

A conversation before marriage...

He : Yes. At last. It was so hard to wait.

She : Do you want me to leave?

He : No! Don't even think about it.

She : Do you love me?

He : Of course! Over and over!

She : Have you ever cheated on me?

He : No! Why are you even asking?

She : Will you kiss me?

He : Every chance I get.

She : Will you hit me?

He : Are you crazy! I'm not that kind of person!

She : Can I trust you?

He : Yes.

She : Darling!

To read a conversation after marriage, simply read this in reverse...

When you was about to walk away and I asked you, what can I do to make you stay... You've said, "Nothing", but then you paused and said, "If God wanted us to be together, He'll make it rain right now". You've always believe God is in the rain and you was looking for a sign from him... It was sunny, no cloud or rain in sight.... but I reached for your hand, which you hesitantly gave to me... I haven't been crying because i was getting to the point of numbness.... but that time, I cried and I told you to feel the raindrops from my eys... That day you hold me tight....

I don't know who you are. But I know you're a soldier. You make so many sacrifices by serving this country.... You never expected to go so soon... at least not like this.

The shooting in Texas took your life.... Usually death does not effect me much. I accept it as part of life... but hearing about you, I cried for you, for your family, your friends.

I prayed that people will remember you for all the good things you've done. Even if you've never set foot in combat, I see you as a brave man.
