I have been involved with the Hmong community through the Lao Family Community of Stockton. Volunteering at outreach programs, building and maintaining their website and social media network, and networking on their behalf through mixers with the local Asian Chamber and political events.

I can't believe in this day and age, there are Hmong living as if they are still in the back woods of Asia. There are so many tools and recourses provided, yet they go unused. It's time to stop trying to survive and start thriving.
