Anyone willing to lend a hand and tell me the differences? I tried to look it up but it's just too much reading. I need something simple. Thanks.

The difference between 32bit and 62bit windows is that 64bit carries more data than 32bit. 32bit can upgrade up to 3-4 gigs of ram while 64bit can go higher. So really, one thing is that 64bit process information quicker than 32bit. Say if you run alot of programs at the same time, 64bit gives you a better response than 32bit. But really, it depends on how you use it. If you're like me and want you to beat everybody up while playing games online then you may want to consider 64bit cuz a higher perfermance computer system can boost up your pc power etc. I have a Mac Pro at 5 gig overclocked cuz thats where i make my music and i play games...If i just want to use it normally like how pple use everyday then i can stay with 32bit. well, theres alot more than what i just give you. Hopef u find what ur looking for. Cheers!

If you have a 32 bit and converted it to 64 bit, it still won't make any difference unless you change the internals with better performance parts. Just like how you turbo a car, you can bolt it on but you must change motor parts to make it faster.

The 32-bit version of windows 7 is for old processors (x86) or single cores cpus and not for the new cpus with multiple or more cores. For example the new i7 core cpu runs with 4 cores running at 64-bit would give it a better performance boost than running it at 32-bit. So 64-bit os is faster, but if your using an old athlon xp processor x86 it's better to stick with 32-bit os of windows 7 because it's hardware isn't capable of running it in 64-bit mode.... I'm a computer geek so ask any questions... : ) bye bye for now...
