Define Hmong? Simply put: Hmong are filthy people who leeches off the government and are a disgrace to the Asian race. Amen.

You watch what you say. You are implying that your a bitch too. A lot of negativity. When a group is chasing you with guns, I pretty sure your stampede the young and small so you can breathe tomorrow.

The true fact is here in the states the majority is struggling through poverty, racism, and violence. Get your head out of your ass and open your eyes.

I have always compared Hmong to Chameleons. No matter where we migrate/immigrate to we can easily adapt/blend into. So if ur question is to define Hmong then my answer is Adaptive.

I'm fighting a war... I'm representing Gangsta's accross the nation. Hmong Gangsta that is ofcourse. When in need of a draft (the Hmong draft ). We are the one who will rise up and actually take arms, while all the cowards that hides behind the police and laws, hide away cowardly in their basments.

Just kidding...
Lol...

I guess I have no choice but to be proud that I am Hmong. Because I was born Hmong... Can't do anything about it... Nope.

Hmong people are great people. Because we have always been connected to a history of poverty we have learned how to work hard and be able to assimilate ourselves to any kind of situations. Because of our people’s history, we know that majority of them didn’t get the opportunity to attend school and therefore because we do, we have learned to appreciate our education more and set ourselves with higher standards to be the best that we can be.

I guess the only flaw about Hmong people is that they can be quite greedy, but I trust that we can grow out of this and learn how to appreciate and support one another. Like the infamous saying “Hmoob tsis sib hlub Hmoob, leej twg yuav hlub Hmoob?”

Right?!? Right.

You can't simply imply terms to it. As many views is offensive or discriminating. This is WHO I am today and tomorrow and words can't dent me. If you don't have such pride how can you go on? Being an emptied yellow shell is just plain hopeless. Even there are twinkees.

The only true meaningful way of putting this is that hmong represent HOPE. Adaptiveness can occur in an race. Its basic instinct to adapt to current state, at which is present.
I say hope. Hope for a brighter future, Hope for a country to name, hope that we all get along, hope that religion shouldn't be forced on another, hope that each step we take is heard in the pages of life as we make our own history in this Country.

I'm a proud Hmong... but also a Proud American.

Hmong? ugh.. someone gave us that name that's pretty much it? Am I proud to be hmong. Sure.

What's to be proud of? that we are unique and has a "race" name that we can define ourselve as.

*insert ancient history here* Smile

My fellow Hmong Americans,

Being Hmong and living in America is the most priviledge feeling one can ever experience. Just think of what life was for us 20 to 30 years ago when our parents lived in Laos or else where; it was harsh. Now look at our lives now that we've adapted, we've come a long ways and what a difference. This is the land of opourtunities and freedom.

It was fate that conjoined us to aid the Americans in the Vietnam War that opened doors for all of us to come here to the United States of America. The Hmong people now are so much better in the position that they are in rather if had lived in Laos. We've got more lawyers, doctors, teachers, political officials, police officers (hey that's me), nurse, etc. So with that said, hold your head high my fellow countrymen. No other race paid the price that we did to get to come to this land. It was by the blood of our people, who died in the war, that American's lives back here in the states then were kept safe. We've rescued Americans shot down pilots, aided other US soldiers from capture, etc. America should recognize this and give the Hmong people a little sense of gratitude, that I might add is long over due.

To the folks that hate Hmong people or pretends to know about the Hmong people but do not, you're a lost soul with no meaning or purpose in life. This means you "hot_boy" which I might add that the only thing hot about you is your burn out hot head; that's been on drugs way too long. Get a life punk, you're not on probation are you.

What makes me proud of being HMONG is our culture. I like how I am the first generation to go to college. I want to represent by studying hard to get a good job that might help change the world.

Don't let your emotions cloud your judgement.
