Let me just get some things sorted out before we get started. Yes, I am a MapleStory fan and I'm even a bigger fan when it comes to Private Servers. Hate me or hate me not, I play Maple on a casual basis. I used to be an addict but as time passes I found myself finding other things to glue myself onto.

This FarmerStory I speak of is not your average MapleStory Private Server. I stepped into this game to expect a very dull gaming zone like MapleStory Global but I was wrong. I felt like a frustrated noob trying to level up at x215 exp rate. I've played many servers in my Maple Life and never had I found x215 exp rate to be so hard. It must be because the coders balanced out the game play to have high rates. It's always about grinding your way up when you're a newbie to a server so I basically started grinding. Because I was ignorant and did not read their forums, I didn't know what I got myself into.

The gameplay is a unique system built on chicken currency. Chicken currency you may ask? Yes, you obtain an etc item (chicken) worth 2 billion mesos. Chickens are basically mesos in exchange because the mesos cap limit is set to 2.1b mesos. Although you may think that having 1 chicken will get you somewhere, you are very wrong if you thought that because 1 chicken won't get you anywhere. Everything is OVERPRICED so having 1 chicken is equivalent to having 1 tire for your car. Even though many things are expensive, it goes well with the game.

There is also another feature called occupations and what an occupation does is boost your rates. Not only does it boost your rates, it also effects your gameplay depending on which occupation you decide to choose. Occupations favor in exp rate, mesos rate, drop rate, and boss drop rate. You have the option to not choose an occupation which will leave you at 100% rates which is normal for the server. You will not have any benefits from not choosing a occupation. Occupations may be changed at every twentieth rebirth.

FarmerStory also has implemented the rebirth system and allowing you to rebirth as many times as you want. Now, some of you who are familiar with the rebirth system may know that the maximum attribute points for MapleStory is capped at 32,767 in str, dex, int, and luk. However, the genius coders of FarmerStory has scripted a very awesome script to give you an equip with 32,767 ap in str, dex, int, luk, and resetting your attributes on the character back to 4 in each. This allows you to be able to max your character's damage to an even higher level which is even more awesome compared to other rebirth system.

Other than just a cool rebirth system, there is also quests to boost your rates. Yes, you heard me, quests that boost your rates up even higher than before just so you can level quicker, make more mesos, and find more drops. These quests are constantly being done therefore making the supplies for the quest even more valuable. You can make chickens off from doing trades. It's a supply and demand system if you ask me.

There are many things to cover because this server has so many features that is very unique from other servers. It starts out hard and eventually end up easy later into the game. This server has so many things that it makes MapleStory feel as if it's a totally new game. Feel free to come join me in this farming land of chickens!
