Money Owed to You That You Didn't Know About
http://scoweb.sco.ca.gov/UCP/Default.aspx
I found out about this website last year when my brother called to tell me that Sears owed me money (salary, wages, etc.) that they never paid me for. He checked family members on the database and found my name. You can search anyone of your friends, family, etc. and it'll tell you which company owes you money and the actual amount.
It could be old bank accounts that you forgot to withdraw your last funds from; old employers who owed you your last paycheck(s); PG&E refunds; etc.
The sad part is that not a lot of Hmong people know about this (especially old folks) and I see a lot of Hmong people who has wages up to $300+ that they are owed on the list. If you are owed any money, just follow the steps to claim that it is yours (social security, driver's license, send documents requested) and then all you have left to do is to wait for your check to arrive in the mail.
I've tried to let some Hmong Radio DJ here in Fresno know about it 'cos I feel like some of our hard working parents are clueless as to missing pay/money from an employer. I literally begged him in the e-mail I sent him to share this info with the Hmong Community- which he didn't. Stupid...I told him to consider that the economy is terrible and having that extra cash you may not know about could go a long way for a struggling family.
Sooooo since he was useless, I decided to post it on here.
This isn't a joke so don't waste any more time. Sorry folks, I only have the California site up. You may want to check under your own state's website.
Omg, I wish there was an error so that I can claim Five thousand. Muahahahaha! In my dreams

Hey! You're back.
Welcome back wings.
I would check out the website, but I barely have any accounts opened nor do I have much credit, so no expectations of seeing my name on there.
