My Confession

I have a confession to tell him, but it won't come out.
My mouth is sealed because it's my secret.
Why won't those words come out?
I ask myself that all the time, but my lips are still sealed.
Every time when my lips part, only will my breath come out.
Not a word heard from my parted lips.
My mind tells me that I should say something,
But my stubborn heart pushes and hides deeper into my chest.
I take my fist and pound my chest hard.
I pound it hard enough that my shirt is stain with my blood.
In my room, I will sit in the corner hugging my knees.
Still not a clue to why I can't make my confession.
He sees me from a distance and only stares.
Not a movement was made or a single hand reached out.
"Run to him", my mind would say.
But, my knees stay lock and here I am, standing in one spot.
My chest bleeds once more.
The wound reopens and my shirt stained again.
I can see him walking, but not towards me.
His distance grows further and further.
Coldness overcomes me as I slowly lie on the ground.
Staring into the bright sky, my confession still kept sealed.
In a low whisper, "My confession...."

In a civilized world, we don't need to approach random people and curse at them unless you're mentally ill. Age is only a number and it doesn't determine your maturity. Repetitive: an adjective used to described events/words/ideas that are often being said or keeps happening over and over again.

I think sometimes when you don't confess, it becomes your own sweet little secret that makes it so precious to you. You carry it with you where ever you go, and hold onto it tight.
