The Chinese and Hmong
I believe that there are so many Chinese today are Hmong. And Hmong today are Chinese. Why? Because due to the wars in the ancient times, so many people change their identities and lots of betrayals. When I watch the Chinese dramas or movies, some elders mention me that some of them are Hmong but sadly they don't know who they really are. If you guys are asking which movie I am talking about, I'm not sure how to spell the name but it's an old movies about 7 daughters.
Damn! Koj mas... you're everywhere
Seven Daughters? That's a bit too broad.
There are too many movies dealing with 7 daughters.
But yes.. I've heard of those myths.
There can't really be any concrete evidence against or for that statement since there are no documents present.
Well talking about that movie, that movie is really old and when I can find the title, then I'll let you know.
If you do your research, they do mention that some Miao are mixed up with the Chinese and change identities because they were scared to be assassinate.
who cares.....we all look alike anyway.
Who thinks the Hmong ppl first lived in China? Lol I agree that Hmong and Chinese are all mixed up. My boyfriend told me that there are only . . . uhmm I forgot. I think 8 (not sure cuz I forgot) real Hmong last names, the rest are originated from the Chinese. I been thinking lately . . . since they say our "KING" or "LEADER" back then is Chi-You or however you spell his name . . . look at it, China . . . Chi-You . . . intersitng right?
Lol! Nerdy has a bf? o_O
Omg... Newsflash.
It's 18 last names dear. Lol.
LOL Karen you're so funny.
And and hrmmm . . . no he say he was reading on the net and it's not 18.
Iono shrugs*
Talking about Chi-You, I've done some researches already but not to the full extent. While I was looking up the King, I was really confused because in some research, it says he is the forefathers of Korean and Chinese and leader of the Hmong? In the Chinese Odyssey, Chi-You was known as the antagonist.
nerdy me: Thirteen?? o_O What? I've never heard of that. Is your bfriend like a Hmong historian or something? How does he know all these things?
yummy_marshmallow: Speaking of Miao and Seven Daughters, just the other day, my friend told me that some Miao person came to his town to help the Hmong community. She says that she's the youngest of the seven daughters and that she sneaked into Earth to help out the people. She was supposedly possessed and started dancing and singing. Honestly, I find it hard to believe, but I can't say I completely don't believe in our superstitions at all. There have been some unexplainable things that have happened.
Awesome! Does she speak english? I need TO talk to her lol
yummy_marshmallow: Yes she does. I think she's like in her early thirties. But I don't have any connections with her.
I GUESS
Hmong people were originally beautiful and intelligent. We were superior in our race. We had beautiful bright blue eyes along with light brown hair. Everyone was jealous of our women and jealous of our intelligence so they combined strength to annihilate us. Slaughtering everyone in their path to annihilation and raping our women, we, the Hmong seek refuge in the forest hiding from the Chinese. It is said, the Great Wall of China is built to keep the Hmong people out of the Chinese's land. Many of our scholars died leaving behind a small group of Hmong. Doing all they can, the remaining survivors taught the children everything they knew in hope of one day reclaiming their rightfully owned land.
Tehe IDK! I think I made it up.
LoL cool, I read something very similar to that
I heard that Adam and Eve was hmong. haha.
i am hmong-chinese. =P
hmong came accross the red sea and settle in wat was western china before the chinese. where the first hmong kingdom was establish under chi you the first king. that was why hmong have blonde and light brown hair and fair light skin and blue eyes and green eyes mostly. at the time hmong population was only 45% of the chinese population. legend says hmong were able to hold off the chinese attack even with few numbers of soldiers. even the famous shaolin kung fu monks were defeated. but after chi you was defeated years later was when hmong kingdom fell it was in ruin slaughter, murdered city burn to the ground woman taken as slave or killed.hmong were easy to spot back then being light skin and light color hair wat remaining survive escaped and built a new kingdom farther south
this is story my dad and grandfather told me and their fore father before them hope u enjoy
wonderful thanks for sharing!
And this brought me to questioning, how did we came from blonde to black?
there are lota legends of why first hmong were blonde and brown hair and light skin but one is. hmong is one of the 10 lost tribe of israel. a tribe of biblical times. story is they were conquere cause of sin and not obeying gods commandment.god banish them They were capture and conquere kept as slaves without a country for centuries but anything after that was a blank no history or nothing was in recorded
now how we are dark skin now and black hair not all were light skinned but some inter marrying the chinese or local people after the fall of hmong empire most blonde or light skinn hmong were murdered or excuted since were easier to spot and were killed so only but even today there are still blonde or light skinned hmong i have a few cousin that still look that way but dad and mom have dark skin and blk hair. not cause they have an albino disorder which some peole think they have
