Just tell us what Anti-Virus program you use and if you like it or not. Tell us what you like and dislike about it.

Well, I use AVG Anti-Virus. I like it, put it on all my computers since it's free and easy to use. It updates itself all the time, which most of the times I don't even notice it updating. I personally think it's better than those Anti-Virus programs that you have to pay for. In the past, I've used McAfee and Norton, but I always ran out of subscription and I didn't want to renew them cause it costs a lot. Then after you pay for it, it expires and you'll have to keep paying, which is worthless and a waste of time. I rather stick to AVG, it doesn't even take that long to download or install. Nor is it hard to understand, I set mines to scan my computer like once a week. I always top it though since it lags me a bit, since it's using up my computer's resources.

I don't believe in Anti-Virus software anymore. =( They never work! I swear they're the one who makes my damn PC slow.

You just got to leave a place when it ain't going no where.

I'm using Panda Anti-Virus Pro 2009. Used to use McAfee. But it didn't really work out.
Hrmm... I don't do the downloading because we have the CDs for them so it's pretty safe.
And it's not me buying it, so I don't trip. I'll run the scans from time to time. Like maybe one or two times a month, but sometimes I forget. Not even sure if the program really actually works. o_O

My cousin's last computer was killed by AVG 8.0 because her Dell was incoporated with programs that seemed like trojans. Haaahaaa.

But I am currently using Malwarebytes and Avast. They're free and very efficient when combine, like fusion polymerization. lol.

I don't like Malwarebyte because I can never run it after installing.

I don't like Avast because it's free. Laughing out loud

I don't like Norton because it sounds like a nerd.

I don't like Kaspersky because I've once read about it's security holes.

BRB my nephew's upside down in his seat. LOL!

Ok I'm back...

I don't like McAfee because it comes pre-installed on the new computers.

I don't even know what Panda Anti Virus is, I bet EC got it just because it sounds cute.

I like AVG though. =) I can run and scan with it without lagging while multitasking! Yeah, I'm bragging about my laptop. Tongue

When all else fails, I resort to ComboFix. Laughing out loud

What software do you use, then? AVG?
What laptop do you have? The brand?

Yeah, I'm using AVG. Browse safely and you'll probably never have to use an anti-virus. My laptop's a dell Alienware, model m17x with a i7 core processor and a sata 500 gb hard drive. It's pretty decent. Laughing out loud

A decent one is better than none.

I'm going to Google your laptop since I don't know how it looks like. Lol.

Eset NOD32/Malwarebytes Anti-Malware/Registry Mechanic/AVG 10.0(Paid cracked version)/ Windows Washers. (FYI, All cracked versions)

I don't pay for any O_O Just get cracked versions. Free all the time. =)

I prefer a paid virus program because free ones only has up to a certain amount of options you can really do and it doesn't always block everything. NOD32 I prefer because it detects it on the spot all the time.

Never had to reformat nor had a virus. I scan my computer twice a week since I tend to net surf a lot.
