A guy is abusing his wife and kids in public. What do you do?
Four of the six options are basically the same. -_-"
You should have one where the bystander can intervene, but not necessarily "take the guy down."
I agree with K. Why can't we just tell him to stop and do something else. I mean I'm not Superman........I can't just jump him and beat him up.

I'm the innocent bystander/onlooker who accidentally happened to dial 911 on accident after taking a punch in the face by attempting to reach McDonalds by walking in between him and his family.
I like your choices. I rather kick that guy ass and be a hero.
The bystander effect takes over so many people.
We all like to think we'd do this and that.
But honestly, in reality, most of us would just stand there too afraid to even say ONE WORD to the abuser. Most choose to ignore because that's the norm in society. We grew up being told to 'mind our own business'.
I can truthfully say that I'd probably be the person to stand up and attack in defense if I had to. I've been in situations in public before where I have acted upon what I felt was morally right to do. Bleh, the abuser ought to get told. =)
I would walk the other way, 2 main reason. 1: Not my business, and 2: Not going to try to stop a psycho path who is out of control I mean what if the nigga tries to kill me?

It's my question, but I can't answer that. I'll probably kick his ass on impluse, but I wouldn't feel like a hero at all.
All my Love!!
